The East African School of Aviation (EASA), then known as the DCA Training School was established in Eastleigh Airport, Nairobi . It was intended to provide training for Telegraphic and Teleprinter Operators. In 1960, the school was expanded to cater also for Engineering Technicians and Air Traffic Control Officers. It was later transferred to the Wilson Airport, Nairobi and training expanded to cater for Aeronautical Information Officer Training.
